Workshop Policies and Information

WORKSHOP POLICY

 

Currently Little Diggers does not have the capacity to rent the facility to people wishing to hold an event.

 

However we do run events of our own from time to time.  Payment for these events can be made to the following account

Please put your name as a reference

-Your place is not confirmed at the workshop until full payment is received and you have a confirmation email from us

-First people paid will be allocated a spot on the workshop for limited numbers, if someone cancels then we will email the next in line a spot at the workshop

-Please sign the attendance sheet when you arrive for the workshop

-Please offer a “Helping Hand” to clean before you leave

-Enjoy yourself!!!!

CHILD MINDING POLICY

-You must advise if you wish to have babysitting for you child/ren when the workshop is booked (if provided for the workshop) and pay this when the workshop is booked

-Babysitting is $5/child

-Parents/carers attending the workshop are still responsible to attend to their child if they require a nappy change and discard of the nappy in the skip bin at the front of the building

-Please bring along a piece of cut up fruit for your child to share with the other children for morning tea while the workshop is running

-Please provide drinks for your child

-Childminding is provided as ‘adjunct’ care; this means the parent/guardian must remain within the centre at all times while their child is using the childminding service. For this reason, LDCC cannot offer childminding for courses or activities that are held off-site.

-The adjunct care is only provided for the duration of the workshop/activity. Upon completion of the activity, parents must collect and care for their children.

-Please do not bring sick children to the centre for childminding.

CANCELLATION POLICY

-24 hours notice must be given if you are not going to attend a workshop and you will receive 50% of the total as a refund.

-If you do not give notice and do not attend the workshop on the day no refund will be given

-You must provide your bank details via email if you are eligible for a refund, please allow 5 working days to get your refund

-If the centre cancels a course that you have paid for due to low numbers or a reason we cannot control you will be given a full refund of the amount paid via bank deposit, again please provide your bank details
