The Committee – with assistance from the Defence Community Organisation – oversees the management, administration, affairs, property and funds of the Little Diggers Community Centre (LDCC) Inc. Whilst the responsibility of the Committee is considerable, members aim to operate in a relaxed informal manner; discussing the general business of LDCC’s varied services and activities, including fundraising ideas and community engagement events. Committee Members actively participate, particularly helping with coordinating playgroup activities, social events and fundraising, but do not have to complete formal committee management duties (such as minute taking or account management).
